Back Veneered Bicycle Fender

This is an in-house prototype of a rear bike fender.

Materials: acrylic, birch veneer, aluminum, and steel hardware.

Here it is in all its prototyped glory. The fender hardware is for mounting into a back brake mount. The mount still needs a little tweaking to make it fit properly.

This is a close up of the grain through the acrylic layer.
