Facebook Fan Page Settings for Maximum Exposure

Facebook has added some great features for brands and small businesses, including Fan Pages and tagging within a post or photos.

Making sure that your Fan Page is opened up as much as possible to the public will insure maximum SEO and overall ease of sharing on your wall for your Fans.

Below is a set of steps to open setup your setting within your Fan Page to take advantage of these features.

First, goto facebook.com/pages/manage/ to get a list the pages you admin (if you haven’t created a Fan Page yet, go here: facebook.com/pages/create.php)

Click Edit Page:

Next Expand the Wall Settings and set them as such:

Next we’ll change the Photo tagging settings by clicking on the Edit Link under photos:

Then Click on Edit Settings:

and set them as such to “Allow fans to tag photos.”:

Click Save and your settings are all opened up to allow for maximum exposure to search engines, potential fans, and adoring fans alike!
